We care for the lives of patients by offering innovative, effective, and safe medications with proven benefits for conditions such as bacterial infections, fungal infections, emesis caused by chemotherapy, and a new way of treating acute pain.

Anti-infectives: Bacterial and Fungal Infections

The extensive use of antibiotics and the lack of new therapeutic options between fungal and bacterial infections give rise to a problem of great worldwide impact due to the high morbidity and mortality they represent. At Stendhal, we promote effective therapeutic options in the presence of multi-resistant strains.

Bacterial Infections

In-hospital infections are frequently related to gram-negative Bacilli (Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumanii) that respond with increasingly greater difficulty to conventional antibiotic therapies and that require drugs capable of responding to multi-drug resistance, as well as an accurate and reliable approach through therapies that guarantee results with a broad spectrum and a formulation that ensures safety and the least toxicity problems possible.

Fungal Infections

Invasive Fungal Infections (IFIs) are a growing problem that is associated with an increase in morbidity and mortality in critically ill patients. The incidence of IFIs has significantly increased worldwide; this represents an important complication in hospitalized patients, derived from the great advances in contemporary medicine in recent decades, especially in critical care, which have contributed not only to prolong the survival of these patients, but also to increase the incidence of opportunistic infections caused by fungi.

Supportive therapy in oncology

Nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapy can significantly affect the quality of life of cancer patients. It usually occurs in up to 30% of patients within the first 72-96 hours after the administration of chemotherapy and is one of the most common side effects. It is very important to prevent nausea and vomiting with optimal drugs during each cycle of chemotherapy. New antiemetics usually prevent acute and delayed nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to have the

most effective antiemetics for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea.

Pain

Currently, one of the main therapeutic demands worldwide focuses on pain management, given its high prevalence and the significant impact it has on the quality of life of patients. Pain that is not properly treated or controlled can become chronic and affect not only the patient's physical health, but also their well-being in areas such as work, family, and social life.

At Stendhal, we are aware of this need; as a result, we have a specific therapeutic area to address pain. This area is comprised of specific medications that contribute to the safe and effective treatment of acute, moderate, or severe pain in patients.

Supportive Therapy in HPCT (Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Transplantation)

HPCT is a procedure that infuses healthy blood-forming stem cells into the body to replace marrow that does not produce enough healthy blood cells. This treatment is used in patients with hematological, immune, or neoplastic disorders, such as leukemia, lymphomas, and immunodeficiencies.

Bone marrow transplants (BMT) can use cells from the body itself (autologous transplant) or from an external donor (allogenic transplant).

Two methods can be used for patient conditioning: chemotherapy or radiotherapy, which are highly invasive, and therapy with alkylating drugs, which is minimally invasive.

la quimioterapia o radioterapia, siendo altamente invasivas y la terapia con medicamentos alquilantes siendo esta última mínimamente invasiva.

At Stendhal, we entered the market with an original product that has extensive clinical development and over 20 years of experience with haemato-oncologists for the conditioning of bone marrow transplant candidates.
